Most of Dobama's history has been tied to Cleveland Heights. The theater opened its doors in 1959 on Coventry Road. After more than three decades on Coventry, the theater was briefly nomadic, producing plays with other theaters in Northeast Ohio.
Dobama then found its permanent home on Lee Road, part of the Heights Library facility. For more on the history of Dobama, visit the theater's website.
