Cedar Road Partially Closed Due To Water Main Break

The break has caused traffic lane closures in the area. Residents are being asked to avoid Cedar Road.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — A water main break on Cedar Road has caused the partial closure of the street, city officials said. Cedar is currently closed between Lennox and Grandview/Surrey. There's no time frame for when the main road will re-open.

Since the break opened up this morning, crews have managed to get one lane of traffic opened eastbound. Westbound Cedar Road, between Lennonx and Grandview/Surrey was still completely closed at 4:30 p.m.

The water main break happened Thursday morning. Cleveland Water was alerted by the city and crews are on the scene.
