"Cleveland Heights prides itself on being “Home to the Arts.” The jewel in that crown is Cain Park, one of the first municipally owned and operated summer performing arts venues in the country, nestled on 22 acres in the heart of Cleveland Heights. Celebrating its 80th Anniversary Season in 2018, Cain Park was built on the dream of Mayor Frank Cain and Dina Rees Evans to provide the community with a place to bring together professionals and theater enthusiasts to “put on a show.”

Over the years, the park has provided residents and visitors with national and regional music and dance concerts; a nationally renowned, juried Cain Park Arts Festival that welcomes 150 visual artists from across the country; wine tastings; free concerts; family entertainment; a musical theater production; plus wintertime sledding and summertime pick-up basketball games, skateboarding, tennis and splash pad fun. Cain Park has two theaters — Evans Amphitheater (seating 1222 under cover with 1278 spaces on the open-air lawn) and Alma Theater (seating 282 under cover) — plus the Feinberg Art Gallery that features two exhibits of local artists each season.
