Oklahoma City Budget Hearings Begin On Tuesday

Presentations from OKC Parks, Development Services, and Public Transportation and Parking are May 18.

The Oklahoma City Council’s hearings on the proposed Fiscal Year 2022 budget begin Tuesday, with an overview presentation and proposed budget presentations from the Fire Department, Municipal Court and Police Department.

The City Council is scheduled to adopt the budget June 8, several weeks before the state’s mandatory deadline. FY 2022 begins July 1.

The full proposed budget book will be posted online Tuesday. There will be an opportunity to submit comments during most of May about the proposed budget online, by text message and by email.
