OKCPS middle school unveils long awaited improvements thanks to voters (kfor.com) — John Marshall Enterprise Middle School in Oklahoma City just opened a new secure entrance and a modernized library and study space funded by the 2022 OKCPS bond. Students now have access to flex areas, 3D printers, an Esports zone, and college-style study rooms, all designed to boost safety, learning, and school pride. Administrators also updated the front office suite with bond dollars.
   

2. Best family museums across Oklahoma (news9.com) — Families in Oklahoma City have two standout options close to home: Science Museum Oklahoma near Remington Place and the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum on NE 63rd. This statewide roundup also spotlights kid-friendly museums in Norman, Tulsa, Seminole, and Claremore, giving OKC parents ideas for both easy afternoon outings and educational road trips across Oklahoma.
   

3. 'Didn't go through the proper channels': Child care group suing OKDHS over subsidy cuts (okcfox.com) — Child care providers in the Oklahoma City area are suing the Oklahoma Department of Human Services over sudden cuts to state childcare subsidies, saying the agency skipped required procedures. Providers warn the loss of a $5-per-day add-on and subsidies for older children could force many centers to close. An emergency hearing at the Oklahoma County Courthouse is now set for December 18.
   

4. Oklahoma Lottery Powerball, Lotto America results for Dec. 15, 2025 (oklahoman.com) — Oklahoma lottery players can now check the winning numbers from the Dec. 15 Powerball, Lotto America, Pick 3, Lucky for Life, and Cash 5 drawings. If you’ve hit a prize, you can mail your signed ticket and claim form to the Oklahoma Lottery office in Oklahoma City, with optional direct deposit details included.
