Which stores will be CLOSED on Thanksgiving Day ?

With Thanksgiving/Black Friday foot traffic slowly decreasing and online sales booming, an increasing number of stores are keeping their doors closed on Thanksgiving Day.

Thanksgiving this year falls on Thursday, November 22, and nearly 100 well-known national and regional retailers will be closed for the day. And although a growing number of stores will also remain closed on Black Friday, the majority of stores listed below will open at some point after Thanksgiving Day ends.

According to Phil Dengler of BestBlackFriday.com although Thanksgiving foot traffic continues to decline, the number of Americans who frequent stores on that day remains high, so the 'big-box' stores such as Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Macy’s, and Kohl’s will all likely stay open.
