The 36th annual Oklahoma World Trade Conference will be held on Wednesday, April 3rd at the Metro Technology Center in northeast Oklahoma City. The conference is sponsored by the Oklahoma District Export Council in coordination with the Metro Technology Centers, U. S. Department of Commerce, Oklahoma Department of Commerce, Oklahoma Governor’s International Team, and corporate partners.

This year’s World Trade Conference will cover a range of topics including an overview of Oklahoma’s global economy, country briefings from invited trade representatives (countries invited include Belgium, Canada, France, Guatemala, Germany, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom), foreign trade agreements, and cyber security and the General Data Protection Regulation. As an added benefit, this year’s World Trade Conference will bring the opportunity for attendees to have individual meetings with the invited trade representatives.

Among the invited trade representatives will be Luis Domenech, the Mexico Trade Representative for the Oklahoma Department of Commerce. Mr. Domenech assists Oklahoma companies looking to increase exports into the Mexican market along with other additional trade services.
