Rustic Drive-In Theater On Rt. 146 Opens For Season On Friday
North Smithfield's Rustic Tri-View, with its 3 large screens, is Rhode Island's only drive-in movie theater.
NORTH SMITHFIELD, RI — Rhode Island's iconic drive-in theater is celebrating its 70th year, and gates will open for the season Friday and Saturday at the Rustic Tri-View on Rt. 146 in North Smithfield.
The Rustic boasts big screens and offers first-run movies. The weather report looks good for "movies under the stars" this weekend, the venue announced on Facebook.
People are advised to purchase tickets online while choosing Rustic Drive-In as the location. Motorists will be placed in the parking lot according to vehicle size, and purchasing the correct ticket (CARS or SUV) is very important, the venue says.

This weekend, motorists will have three choices of entertainment: Mortal Kombat followed by Monster Hunter; Godzilla vs. Kong followed by Wonder Woman; and Tom & Jerry followed by Croods: New Age.
