Risa grew up in Nanuet and graduated from Nanuet High School. She founded GMG Public Relations in 1991 in White Plains. Risa is the co-founder and current president of the Nanuet Chamber of Commerce and is also Vice President of Marketing for Rockland Business Women's Network. Risa is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and is a Certified In-Bound Marketing professional offering advice and counsel to those who want support with new and social media. She is also creator and host of The Bigger Picture on wrcr.com.
