Tim Jensen is in his fourth decade of reporting news and sports in north central Connecticut. He currently oversees 12 Patch sites: Berlin, Newington, Farmington, Canton, Simsbury, Granby-East Granby, Suffield, Enfield, Windsor Locks-East Windsor, Windsor, South Windsor and Greater Hartford.
In addition to his work as a newsman, Tim keeps busy as a disc jockey, playing at private affairs such as weddings and parties, and a public address announcer for Enfield-East Granby ice hockey and University of Hartford athletics.
He is president of the Connecticut Sports Writers' Alliance, serving as Gold Key Dinner chairman since 2015. He is vice chairman of the Enfield Athletic Hall of Fame, and has emceed the annual induction dinner each year since 2003.
He is commissioner of Blitzkrieg! Pro Wrestling, an independent pro wrestling promotion based in Enfield.
Tim has two children: Alex, a student at Castleton University, and Mia, who attends Enfield High School.
