4th of July Parades, Fireworks and Celebrations in Santa Clara County

SANTA CLARA COUNTY - You can almost smell hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill as you think about the upcoming long Fourth of July weekend.

Cities in Santa Clara County are preparing to host a wide variety of fun events from parades and fireworks to live music and festivals in celebration of the 4th of July.

Personal fireworks are illegal in the county. Safe-and-sane fireworks are allowed in the city of Gilroy, according to a California website that monitors county-by-county laws.

City of Santa Clara’s 4th of July All-City Picnic & Firework Extravaganza; featuring free public swimming, live entertainment, carnival games, and food! Festivities begin at noon and the Firework Extravaganza begins at 9:30 p.m.

Morgan Hill remains one of the very few cities in the entire Bay Area that continues to have all day events surrounding the 4th of July. Our annual events include the Patriotic Sing, Family Street Dance, Freedom Run, Parade, Freedom Car Cruise and Show finished by a spectacular fireworks and entertainment show entitled Fireworks on the Green.

Flag-raising at 9:30 a.m. Children's parade begins at 10 a.m. at Memorial Park. Pancake breakfast from 7 a.m - 11 a.m.; live entertainment and food. Free swim from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Don't miss the unique fireworks show presented at Gilroy High School. Show will begin around 9:30pm.

The premier championship in women’s golf is coming to CordeValle Resort this July! This is the first U.S. Women’s Open held in the Bay Area and a wonderful opportunity to showcase this beautiful championship course and our vibrant golf community.

"Waving the Red, White & Blue” Pool Party – 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
This year’s event will consist of music, games, fun and much more. The Pool party event will be held at the Milpitas Sports Center pool area and will consist of entertainment, free swim and a hot dog lunch to be sold by Center Stage Performing Arts.
Red, White & Boom "Concert and Fireworks – 7:00 PM (Gates open at 6:00 PM)
The gates will open at 5:00 PM for those that purchased”Presale Wristbands" and open at 6:00 PM for wristbands purchased at the event. There is a limited amount of presale wristbands, 5000, once they are sold out, attendees will have to purchase wristbands that will allow them to enter at 6:00 PM. This year's event will consist of musical entertainment, supplied by Pac Soul, with an added attraction of a dance floor to enjoy the sounds of the band and be able to dance. Food Truck Mafia will be selling savory and sweet items the entire event. The Fireworks show will start at approximately 9:15 PM, depending on how dark it is, and is expected to last approximately 20-30 minutes.

This year we will honor Olympic Speed Skater and U.S. Bicycle Hall of Fame inductee, Beth Heiden as our 2016 Grand Marshal. Last year we had 115 groups and over 2,000 people in the Parade! Over 30,000 spectators lined the streets in Rose Garden area and along The Alameda in San Jose to see this great Parade! Be sure to bring your family and friends!

4th of July 2016 Parade starts at 10am, with Live Music and good things to eat at the Festival after the Parade!

Free, world-class fireworks return to downtown San Jose!

Join the Rotary Club of San Jose and Symphony Silicon Valley in celebrating Independence Day at Discovery Meadow. Fireworks begin at approximately 9:30PM. The free Symphony Summer Pops music begins at 5:30PM.

VTA will have special bus and Light Rail service for the fireworks.

Shoreline Amphitheatre - 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular With San Francisco Symphony - "A Night At The Movies" with music from Inside Out, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, E.T., Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone, Raider of the Lost Ark and more on July 4th, 2016, Monday at 8:00 p.m. Shoreline Amphitheatre. Mitchell Park – 600 East Meadow Drive, Palo Alto. 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Chili teams compete for over $2,000 in cash and prizes.Food, Beer & Margaritas, Chili, Live Music, and Stanford Federal Credit Union Ice Cream & Dessert Parlor. Kids Area includes art projects with the Palo Alto Art Center, face painting, fun sporting activities, games and more.
