Now this is one a solid guy comedy. It has bro-mance appeal and male bonding written all over it. At the center are 20-something showbiz wannabes who are members of the retro-swing dance movement. “Swingers” is a cult classic that's witty, funny, cool and energetic. And that dance club scene alone is so worth your time.

Of course, we need a sports film on our list. “Major League” follows a baseball team of misfits put together to lose the American League. Why? The owner wants to justify her plan to move the team from Ohio to Florida. But the biggest underdogs get their act together and rally to win the championship. The movie is predictable, but its comedy is priceless.
