Bicyclist Discovers Dead Body In South Bay Park: Police

SUNNYVALE, CA — Sunnyvale authorities reported a dead body that was found in the area of Baylands Park on Tuesday afternoon, according to the city’s department of public safety.

A bicyclist discovered the body, which was submerged in vegetation along the embankment of a small creek south of the Sunnyvale Materials Recovery and Transfer Station trail.

Authorities said there was no evidence of criminal activity, but they are looking into the cause and manner of death. The body has not been identified due to decomposition.
