Body Recovered From Guadalupe River In San Jose
Authorities responded Monday afternoon after receiving a report of a dead person in the water, police said.
SAN JOSE, CA — A body was found Monday in the Guadalupe River in San Jose, police said.
Officers responded at 12:27 p.m. to the river near Gold and Moffat streets after someone reported seeing a person in the water who appeared to be dead.
Firefighters took the body from the river. Police said the Santa Clara County medical examiner's office will take over the investigation.
