Car Goes Down Slope In Santa Clara County, But Nobody Inside
Nobody was found inside a car that went down a steep slope and into a creek in southeastern San Jose Sunday, fire officials said.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — Public safety personnel closed Metcalf Road about 1/2-mile east of Malech Road about 12:30 p.m. on Sunday after it was reported that a vehicle had gone down a steep slope and down into a creek.
A rescuer was lowered by rope to the vehicle, which was unoccupied with no people visible in the area, the San Jose Fire Department said on its Twitter account.
Metcalf Road remains closed until further notice.

The SUV has been marked for future identification, the department said.
