Former SJSU Students To Compete In Rio Olympic Games Judo Event
Two former students from San Jose State University will compete in judo in the Summer Olympic Games in Brazil.

SAN JOSE - Two former students from San Jose State University will compete in judo in the Summer Olympic Games in Brazil, according to university officials.
Marti Malloy, 30, and Colton Brown, 26, will represent the U.S. next month at the games in Rio de Janeiro.
This will be Malloy's second time attending the games. She won a bronze medal at the Olympics in London in 2012.

Brown will be competing in the games for the first time.
Both Malloy and Brown come out of a respected judo program at San Jose State run by coach Yoshihiro Uchida.

Uchida, who is 96 years old, will also be traveling to the games, university officials said.
