Highway 9 Fatal Bicycle Crash Closes NB Side
The highway has since reopened but both unidentified men sustained injuries. Authorities believe no vehicles were involved.
LOS GATOS, CA --One cyclist riding with another died from injuries he sustained in a crash on Highway 9 south of Carnelian Glen Court in Saratoga, the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department reported.
The incident called in at 1:35 p.m. involved no known vehicles but closed the northbound lanes. Vehicles were able to drive headed southbound, and the road has since reopened.
No names have been released in the crash. The other cyclist was reported to receive minor injuries.

Motorists were diverted to Mendelsohn Lane near Monte Sereno, the California Highway Patrol added.
