Los Gatos Police Log: Elder Abuse, Car Crashes Into Pillar, Vandalism
The following crime information was provided by the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno police. The incidents are for the period of Jan. 16-20, 2014.
- Vandalism: 11:45 p.m. Jan. 16 on Downing Oak Court
- Vehicle Code Violation: 4:15 p.m. Jan. 16 at Arroyo Grande Way and Lark Avenue
- Elder Abuse: 2:46 p.m. Jan. 16 at undisclosed location
- Vehicle Recovery: 1:40 p.m. Jan. 18 on Grove Street, a 42-year-old man was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail for driving a stolen rental vehicle.
- Found Property: 11:29 a.m. Jan. 18 on Los Gatos Boulevard
- Found Property: 7:53 p.m. Jan. 18 on Los Gatos Boulevard, found property was turned into a town ranger at Oak Meadow Park, which was then turned over to police for safekeeping and booked at the police station.
- Public Intoxication: 6:23 a.m. Jan. 19 on Los Gatos-Saratoga Road, a subject was arrested for being drunk in public.
- Vandalism: 8:36 a.m. Jan. 19 at Euclid Avenue and Jones Road
- Vehicle Code Violation: 10:29 p.m. Jan. 19 at Bachman and University avenues, a vehicle stop was initiated for a traffic violation
- Commercial Burglary: 7 a.m. Jan. 20 on Leigh Avenue
- Vandalism: 11:23 a.m. Jan. 17 on No. Santa Cruz Avenue
- Found Property: 6:44 a.m. Jan. 17 on No. Santa Cruz Avenue
- Vehicle Towed: 11:51 a.m. Jan. 20 on Broadway
- DUI: 8:22 p.m. Jan. 17 at Almendra and Massol avenues, a 57-year-old woman was arrested for DUI
- Assault/Domestic Violence: 4:37 p.m. Jan. 20 on Bennett Way, a 32-year-old man was arrested for domestic assault.
- Vandalism: 11:59 a.m. Jan. 18 on Los Gatos-Saratoga Road
- Petty Theft: 3:58 p.m. Jan. 20 on Blossom Villa Way
- Assault: 1:29 a.m. Jan. 18 on No. Santa Cruz Avenue, a 29-year-old man was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County jail for felony assault.
- Outstanding Warrant: 1:57 p.m. Jan. 18 on Los Gatos-Saratoga Road, a 29-year-old man was issued a new court date for a vehicle code bench warrant out of Southern California.
- Warrant Service: 5:01 a.m. Jan. 20 at Garden Lane and Chirco Drive
- Property Damage Accident: 12:41 a.m. Jan. 19 on Los Gatos Bouelvard
- Injury Accident: 8:39 p.m. Jan. 19 at Quito and Old Adobe roads, a car crashed into a pillar.
