Man, 24, Killed After Crashing Into Tree In San Jose

The male driver of a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria lost control driving westbound and hit a tree in the center divide on Tully Road, police said.

SAN JOSE, CA — A 24-year-old man was killed after crashing his vehicle into a tree in San Jose on Friday, according to police.

The solo-vehicle crash was reported at about 4:23 p.m. on Tully Road just east of Quimby Road, police said. At some point, the male driver of a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria lost control driving westbound and hit a tree in the center divide.

According to police, he was pronounced dead at the scene. He hasn't been identified. Nobody else was in the vehicle.

This is San Jose's third fatal collision this year.
