Man, 85, Dies After Being Hit By Truck In San Jose Last Week
Jose Sepulveda, 85, of San Jose, died Thursday following the Jan. 14 collision with a pickup truck.
SAN JOSE, CA — A pedestrian died last Thursday following a collision with a pickup truck the previous week in San Jose, police said Tuesday.
Jose Sepulveda, 85, of San Jose, died following the collision Jan. 14 at East San Antonio Street and Lynette Way. Officers responded at 4:51 p.m. to that intersection where an investigation revealed that a 2015 Toyota Tacoma was traveling west on East San Antonio Street when it hit Sepulveda.
Sepulveda was taken to a hospital and was there until he died. Police were told Tuesday of Sepulveda's death. The man driving the Toyota stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.

According to police, neither alcohol nor drugs appear to have played a role in the collision.
