Manresa Bread Is Taking Orders For Passover & Easter 2021

SOUTH BAY, CA — Nothing signals spring like Passover and Easter. And for many locals in the South Bay and Silicon Valley, Manresa Bread's bakery treats complete the celebrations.

Now is the time to order your breads, quiches, croissants, cookies and more seasonal items from the establishment, with locations in Los Altos, Los Gatos and Campbell.

Manresa Bread, founded by James Beard-nominated “Outstanding Baker”Avery Ruzicka, is taking pre-orders with a full line-up of holiday options planned for pick-up or nationwide shipping.

Easter menu includes:

• Two babka flavors ($22)— coconut and chocolate;
• White Chocolate Strawberry Panettone ($48);
• Cookie tin (20 cookies; $55) featuring five varieties: Chocolate Pistachio Rye Biscotti; White Flower Lemon Lavender Shortbread; Einkorn Palmier; Red Wheat Confetti Cookie; and Almond Flour Mexican Wedding Cookies;
• Pistachio galette;
• Potato and herb quiche and quiche Lorraine;
• And chocolate offerings from chocolate croissants to chocolate cherry granola.

For Passover:

• Gluten-free chocolate almond cake ($30);
• Matzah brittle ($12).

Easter pre-orders due March 28, for socially distanced pick-up April 2-4. Passover specials are available daily for in-store purchases March 27 through April 4, with pre-orders until March 28.

Mother’s Day pre-orders also will be available beginning April 19, with naturally leavened donuts, macarons, cinnamon rolls ($25) and “Bake with Manresa Bread” mixes. Orders can be placed April 19-May 2, for pick-up May 7-9.

Ruzicka’s new “Bake with Manresa Bread” mixes are available individually or as a bundle—with each mix featuring house-milled flours and directions for conventional or vegan preparations. Featured mixes include House Milled Whole Grain Einkorn Waffle Mix, House Milled Rye Mocha Brownie Mix and House Milled Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix.

Manresa Bread bakery locations are at 276 N. Santa Cruz Ave. in Los Gatos and at 271 State St. inLos Altos, plus an all-day café at 195 E. Campbell Ave. in Campbell. Breads and pastries also are available at Verve Coffee shops in Santa Cruz and Palo Alto.
