New Tapas Hub Coming To Los Gatos, Featuring A Speakeasy

LOS GATOS, CA — A new tapas and paellas hub is coming to Los Gatos this fall.

Telefèric Barcelona, a Barcelona-based restaurant, will open its third Bay Area location in September.

According to a news release, the restaurant will be located at 50 University Avenue and be open for lunch and dinner. The restaurant will feature a patio with windows overlooking Old Town Los Gatos, a speakeasy-style wine cellar and a market specializing in Spanish products.

Telefèric Barcelona also has Bay Area locations in Walnut Creek and Palo Alto.

“I am excited to continue to grow Teleferic Barcelona in the Bay Area,” said Xavi Padroa, the owner and founder. “ Looking forward to opening in Los Gatos and sharing authentic Spanish tapas, paellas, sangrias and more with the community!”

The menu is expected to feature seven different types of paellas served alongside tapas such as Iberico jamon and empanadas. The restaurant will also feature a dim-sum style pintxos cart going around the tables.
