Suspicious Death At South Bay Landfill Investigated: Police

MILPITAS, CA — San Jose police are investigating what they called a suspicious death that occurred on May 19 at the Newby Landfill in Milpitas.

According to a news release on Thursday, the body of 33-year-old Allycia Kelley, a San Jose resident, was located at the facility by employees. An investigation found that she was transported to the facility via routine landfill drop-off from San Jose.

Details surrounding Kelley's death are under investigation, police said.
