Traffic Alert: Crashes Block Highway 17
A Sig-alert has just been lifted in one of the collisions, according to CHP.
LOS GATOS, CA – Crashes were slowing traffic Friday on state Highway 17 near Los Gatos. The latest incident was reported at 1:22 p.m. and involved a vehicle that reportedly went off an embankment near the Summit Road off-ramp from southbound SR-17, according to CHP.
A crash reported at 12:57 p.m. on southbound SR-17 near Brush Road was blocking the right lane, according to California Highway Patrol. An ambulance was requested at the scene.
An ambulance responded to another crash on SR-17 at 11:35 a.m. at the Redwood Estates off-ramp. A Sig-alert was issued at 11:50 a.m. for the collision that left the number-two northbound lane blocked, according to CHP. The Sig-alert was lifted at 1:11 p.m.
