David Jones, Patch Staff

David Jones is an award-winning journalist from Newark, N.J. From 2013-2014 he covered breaking news in New Jersey for Reuters. He also covered commercial and residential real estate for The Real Deal, a New York-based magazine and blog. He previously worked as an online reporter for Crain's New York Business and a staff writer for Bloomberg Business News and the Democrat and Chronicle in Rochester, N.Y. His freelance writing credits include The New York Times, Newsday, The Nation, In These Times, Hemispheres and Continental. He is a recipient of the George Washington Williams Fellowship from the Independent Press Association.
