Obituary: Anthony Michael Izzo, 38, Of West Haven
Anthony, a West Haven High graduate who worked at Mackenzie Restoration, will be remembered for his kindness & love for his family & friends

I worked with the Journal Register Company in various roles for 16 years before coming to Patch in July, 2014.
I started my journalism career as an intern with the Hamden Chronicle and was then hired as the Staff Reporter, covering all aspects of the community.
I then made the switch over to sports and was the Executive Sports Editor for Elm City Newspapers, a group of community weeklies, for 12 years. During that time, I also worked in the New Haven Register sports department as a copy editor.
I currently cover communities in Connecticut for Patch.
